Why cannot I send my phone number before booking?
GigWest protects the marketplace booking path. Before confirmation, automated moderation checks attempts to share phone numbers, email addresses, websites, social profiles, messaging handles and obfuscated contact details.
Are messages automatically checked and can administrators see them?
Pre-booking messages are not completely private from platform moderation. Flagged messages and blocked originals may be reviewed by authorised administrators and access is audited.
When are contact details unlocked?
After the accepted quote’s GigWest booking fee has succeeded and the booking is confirmed.
Can I send attachments?
GigWest does not host private file attachments at launch. Keep using GigWest text messaging before confirmation. After the booking is confirmed and contact details are unlocked, participants can exchange any required contracts, invoices, stage plots or certificates directly.
