Does GigWest collect the whole performance fee?
No. GigWest processes only its added-on booking fee. It does not collect the performer quote.
How is the performer quote paid?
After confirmation, contact details unlock and the performer and hirer arrange payment directly under the accepted quote terms. GigWest does not store a dedicated bank-details or payment-instructions record.
Who chooses when the performer quote is due?
The performer chooses structured terms: before the event, on the event date, immediately after performance, within a stated number of days, or custom agreed terms.
Does GigWest track whether the Performer Fee was paid?
No. GigWest displays the agreed Performer Fee as booking context, but does not collect, hold, distribute, reconcile or record whether that direct payment was made.
What happens if direct payment is disputed?
The parties should communicate directly and may request available platform records through support. GigWest does not decide legal liability, reconcile the Performer Fee or provide formal arbitration.
