Who can join?
Adults offering a live entertainment service may create a profile, subject to platform rules and publication review.
Do I need an ABN?
Yes. A performer must provide a valid-format ABN and confirm it belongs to them or the entity through which they provide services before submitting a profile.
Do I have to be 18?
Yes. Performer onboarding requires a date of birth establishing that the account holder is at least 18. Date of birth is private and is not shown publicly.
Can anyone offering live entertainment join?
Live entertainment services can apply. Publication review checks required information and obvious rule violations. It does not verify identity, independently verify ABN ownership or insurance, endorse the performer, or certify artistic quality.
How are performer profiles published?
New profiles remain private drafts until submitted for publication review. GigWest may publish a profile when the required workflow is complete or request changes. Published means the profile may appear publicly; it does not mean the performer is identity-verified, vetted, background checked or endorsed. Later public content remains subject to reporting and moderation.
Can I have multiple performer profiles?
The data model can associate profiles with one underlying legal performer, but extra profiles cannot be used to reset booking relationships or fees. Additional-profile access is subject to moderation and product controls.
Can I set my own price and travel area?
Yes. Performers set public guide pricing, tailored quotes, extras and travel range.
Can I manage availability?
Yes. Availability is the performer’s current calendar status, not an indefinite guarantee. Performers must keep it accurate.
Does availability guarantee a date or can GigWest guarantee bookings?
No. A date is not confirmed until quote acceptance and confirmed booking-fee payment. GigWest does not guarantee enquiries or bookings.
