What information is public?
Published performer stage information, general locality, public pricing guides, moderated public media, factual insurance indicators and reviews from completed GigWest bookings may be public. Date of birth, private ABN-associated information, personal contact details, bank instructions and policy documents are not public.
Does GigWest store card information?
GigWest uses Stripe Checkout for the booking-fee workflow and does not store raw card numbers.
How are private documents protected?
GigWest accepts only the restricted Public Liability Insurance Certificate PDF workflow. It validates PDF structure server-side, rejects encrypted and active-content PDFs, stores files privately under opaque identifiers, and re-checks ownership or an authorised venue relationship for each download. This is not a guarantee that a file or policy is genuine or risk-free. Generic private documents and message, invoice and booking attachments remain unsupported. Promotional performer profile, cover and gallery images use a separate media system and may be public on a published profile.
How do I report a user?
Use the support form and choose “Report a user”. Include the relevant booking or enquiry reference without posting sensitive information publicly.
